They’re using fucking water cannons on protectors trapped on a bridge near standing rock. It is below freezing, and law enforcement with no jurisdiction is out there trying to kill people. In the name of oil, to protect wealth, to assert that native people’s have no rights or powers.

Hundreds of plumbers from across the United States traveled to Flint, Michigan, to help out embattled residents on Saturday. It’s a heartwarming episode in what has otherwise been a nightmare saga for the city of 99,000. The plumbers’ work could be a game changer for Flint residents.
Union brothers and sisters
Unions have helped, religious groups have helped, many individual people have helped, but the Michigan state government hasn’t.
Flint is still waiting for clean water!
Lots of unions do stuff like this. I know that carpenter’s unions around me build ramps for newly disabled people and stuff all the time for example. No one ever recognizes the good they do, they just get slammed in the news.
